Bota Sot Editorials

Bota Sot

Bota Sot is a daily newspaper from Kosovo, originally published by the diaspora in Switzerland. The publication has recently been accused of “inflammatory” reports. The editors of the newspaper, Bardhyl Ajeti and Bekim Kastrati, are among the targets of this criticism. Here, they explain their stance. Listed below are some of their recent editorials. While these reports may seem controversial, they have a point.

Bardhyl Ajeti writes editorials for Bota Sot

”Bota Sot” is a daily Kosovo newspaper that was originally published by the Kosovo diaspora in Switzerland. It is now published by Media Print, a company run by diaspora businessman Xhevdet Mazrekaj. The newspaper was founded in 1995. Its editorials usually support the Democratic Party of Albania, and have supported both Ibrahim Rugova and Sali Berisha.

Reporters Without Borders, an organization that represents the press and human rights, has written to the United Nations’ interim administration mission in Kosovo to express “extreme concern” about the murder of an Albanian journalist. In the letter, RSF calls on UNMIK to use its full resources to identify and punish those responsible. On 3 June, Bardehul Ajeti, a journalist and editor for the Albanian newspaper Bota Sot, was shot by unidentified gunmen in Pristina. He had stopped at the car and was shot in the head.

Bekim Kastrati is the editor of Bota Sot

The editor of the largest newspaper in the Kosovo province has been suspended by the police over the publication of an article critical of Geci. The article is believed to have been written by a journalist identified as Bekim Kastrati. The publication was fined two thousand and fifty Euros last year for bias. The incident has prompted an investigation by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office. The publication’s editorial board has suspended Kastrati pending further investigation.

Among the many issues discussed in the paper is Kosovo’s status within the EU. In a previous article, Kastrati discussed his country’s status with the EU. It was later revealed that Kastrati was a member of the European Union. Nevertheless, the article made it clear that he had a strong desire to change Kosovo’s status as an independent nation. The editor of Bota Sot was a member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2013.

The two journalists who were murdered for their work were members of the editorial board of Bota Sot, the Albanian newspaper known for its affiliation with the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo. Both were shot in the head on 3 June and were transferred to the Galiazzi Hospital in Milan after the shooting. The journalists’ conditions had been stable when they were rushed to the hospital. However, they quickly fell into a coma. The editors are now calling for a thorough investigation.

The Bota Sot newspaper has been fined for two articles, one of which accused Kosovo police of cooperating with the Milosevic regime. The article is a prime example of the kind of hate speech that accompanies the Kosovo Albanian language newspaper. Not only is the newspaper filled with hate speech directed at Serbs and Gypsies, but it also contains inflammatory language that is inciting violence. In fact, the paper has even published ads for the National Liberation Army.

Bekim Kastrati is an experienced gazetar and pjesetar in Kosovo. His work has been featured in a number of magazines, including the popular SHIK magazine and the renowned Gjykata Speciale. Whether you are looking for a pjesetar or a gazetteer, the Kosovan oblast has a wide selection of publications for readers to read.

Bota Sot is the English name of Kosovo’s news site. As a periodist, Kastrati’s work is crucial for the Kosovo economy. He has been threatened with physical violence in the past by unknown gunmen and has been fined 50 thousand DM by the local court. Bekim Kastrati has vowed to continue the publication and hopes to make his name and country proud.

The newspaper has been targeted for publishing “inflammatory” reports

The Zurich district prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the editor of the Kosovo-Albanian newspaper Bota Sot for allegedly using racist and inflammatory language in reporting about Kosovo and Macedonians in Macedonia. The inflammatory reports were published on the newspaper’s website and in other articles published by the publication. Both reports have been condemned by the International Helsinki Federation, which noted the newspaper’s publication of such reports.

The news reports largely focus on President Trump’s decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Reactions from the E.U. and Russia have been mixed. Other recent headlines concern the Israeli government’s plans to build apartments in East Jerusalem. The U.S. administration has supported the plan, arguing that it is the country’s right to make its own decisions.
