Leigh R. Curyer is the founder of NexGen Energy Ltd. and a Non-Independent Director of the company. He is also Chairman of IsoEnergy Ltd. Curyer is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. Previously, he held positions at Consolidated Uranium Inc., Uranium One Inc., and Accord Nuclear Resources Management Pty.
Leigh R. Curyer
As CEO of NexGen Energy, Leigh R. Curyer brings 18 years of experience in the resources industry to his role. He was previously the CFO and chief financial officer of Southern Cross Resources, which is now Uranium One. Prior to NexGen Energy, he worked at Accord Nuclear Resource Management as head of corporate development, assessing uranium projects throughout the world. His experience ranges from evaluating operational mines to assessing exploration prospects.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of South Australia, Mr. Curyer began his career in the oil and gas industry, where he was employed as a corporate accountant. His early career included managing a large uranium project in South Australia. He oversaw the full compliance of NI43-101 reporting requirements and raised over $250M in equity in North America, the U.S., and Europe. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
Education
A three-day, on-site visit is conducted to evaluate the College’s Education program. This entails evaluating the program’s strengths and weaknesses across six domains. The results of this visit will help the DESE determine if the College’s Education program is worthy of program approval. For example, DESE evaluates a program’s impact on the community, educator evaluation ratings, and stakeholder survey data.
Experience
