If you’re looking for some good WCO anime, then you’ve come to the right place. Here we’ll discuss Ikuhara Takeya and the DearS, Haruto Tsukishiro, Psycho-Pass, and The Financial District. These are all great choices if you’re new to the genre and have never seen any of these shows. But if you’re a seasoned viewer, you might have questions, too.
Ikuhara Takeya and the DearS
In the first season of the WCO anime, Takeya meets an alien named Ren who saves him from being run over by a truck. While Takeya is distrustful of aliens, he takes Ren in as his personal slave and adopts him as his Master. He then leaves Takeya with a “DearS,” a token of affection. However, Ren’s appearance makes Takeya’s ordinary alien-free days come to an end.
Although the series’ plot revolves around Takeya’s relationship with Ren, he still struggles to accept his new status as a slave. Though Takeya doesn’t fully grasp the concept of love until the manga series ends, he realizes his love for Ren. Since the DearS are all enslaved to humans, taking care of Ren will allow all of them to reproduce.
Takeya Ikuhara is an average high school student who is unaccustomed to change. Despite his outward indifference, he has a kind heart hidden under his cold exterior. He tends to jump into problems headfirst, and he wastes time panicking over little things. Takeya’s low grade levels and his concern over keeping track of his slave, Ren, causes him to lose his temper. While his love for Ren is purely platonic, Takeya realizes that he can’t let Ren go.
While the characters in this series share common traits, there is one character who is not a friend of Takeya. Takeya’s sister, Ikuhara, is a member of the DearS Love Club. She has a deep infatuation with Ren, but he’s shallow and goofy. In addition, Takeya’s sister, Ren, has a tragic past. She failed to save her master when she was a child.
Haruto Tsukishiro
In the third episode of the second season of the WCO anime, Haruto Tsukishiro finds himself in a strange dream world. He sees a mysterious girl named Lily. He also meets a new girl, Katsumi Kanzaki, and learns about witches. Throughout the series, Haruto encounters many strange incidents and challenges, and ultimately finds himself battling against them in the final episode.
In the final episode, Lily, a young girl named Haruto meets in his dream world, offers to help him kill the evil witch Kanzaki, and explains that the eternal state of the former is similar to that of Eve before she was corrupted. The two finally meet at the end of the series and merge together. Haruto, however, does not know about this and is very confused.
After this event, Kayo is upset and is worried about Haruto, but she continues to make small talk with him. During this time, she also begins to feel affection for him, and tries to convince him to spend time with her. However, she is nervous about kissing him, and eventually agrees. But then, after reading Kayo’s letter, she decides to go back to being a high schooler. Haruto then takes her home to talk to her again. The next day, Haruto sees her and invites her to hang out with him.
In the second season, the main cast is made of two major characters: Yuko and Haruto Tsukishiro. Both are incredibly strong, but are not completely trustworthy. Haruto’s strength and ability to fight is legendary. His ability to fight evil rivals will prove invaluable to both his shinobi and his family. However, the two characters aren’t the only ones who can help each other.
Psycho-Pass
The series takes place in a futuristic Japan where the entire society is run by a bio-mechanical computer network known as the Sibyl System. The system aims to maintain law and order, while making its citizens feel absolutely happy. This is accomplished by measuring a person’s mental state and their “Crime Coefficient”. If a person has a high Crime Coefficient, he will be branded as a criminal.
It’s difficult to gauge the evil behind the Psycho-Pass system. The number of murders is so high that it borders on bioterrorism. Despite this, however, it’s impossible to say if the film is a success or a flop. The series will release a film starring Gen Urobuchi and Makoto Fukami on January 9th. If you’re interested in seeing the series, I’d suggest reading the novel series before watching it.
The main character of the series is Arata Shindo, a rookie inspector of the Public Safety Bureau who has the ability to use a “Psycho-Pass” based on the Crime Coefficient. This ability allows Arata to see the past and present actions of human subjects. It also puts Arata Shindo at risk of physical attack when he is using his “Psycho-Pass.” Despite this, he is aided by Kei Mikhail Ignatov, a former criminal who has a passion to use the Sibyl System to control the population.
During the event, the group is surrounded by enemies of the law. Akane subdues Togane, who claims to be a member of Division 3. Then Akane takes Kamui and reveals his true form. The group then takes Kamui to Sibyl, who acknowledges his existence and authorizes the collective Psycho-Pass. Akane is then called upon to rescue the hostages, but the attack is unsuccessful, and Shisui and her friends try to blow up the facility.
The Financial District
The financial crisis in Japan is so bad that the government has resorted to the creation of a Sovereign Wealth Fund to help save the country. Even so, the citizens of Japan suffer from unemployment, crime, despair, and depression. Kimimaro dreams of living a stable life as a civil servant. But when he meets a mysterious man who offers him a chance to make money fast, he becomes entangled in the strange world of “The Financial District.” There, people engage in supernatural battles to earn enough money to survive and save their country.
Ikuhara Takasu
Ikuhara’s involvement with Sailor Moon started with the manga and continued with the ‘Adolescence of Utena’ anime. The manga and anime series soon became cult classics. In the anime, Ikuhara played the role of director, and his unique vision and style became known worldwide. He later reprised the role in the feature film version, ‘Adolescence of Utena,’ which featured a different story and theme.
Ikuhara’s career has spanned many genres. He was the director of the television anime adaptation of Sailor Moon, serving as director of many episodes. He succeeded Junichi Sato as series director during the third season of Sailor Moon S. He also directed the first ever Sailor Moon theatrical film. His work with Sailor Moon continues today, and his work has become increasingly influential in anime and manga.
In addition to his role as the protagonist in Utena, Ikuhara has performed several interviews with fans and journalists. He has also contributed commentary tracks to Utena DVDs. In the latter case, he has worn brightly colored clothing to interact with fans. He has also cosplayed as Sailor Mars on a few occasions. However, when it comes to fan interactions, he tends to respond in evasive, funny, and awkward ways.
Ikuhara has also returned to the director’s chair with Penguindrum in 2011, which will be re-released in English as ‘Penguindrum’. Ikuhara has since worked on a number of other anime series during the intervening years. The latest one, Yurikuma Arashi, was based on a manga Ikuhara wrote. Sarazanmai, meanwhile, is set to premiere in February 2019.
